A sharp-minded boy and a group of super-sensory individuals weave together a modern supernatural mystery. Ataru Rokugatsu, a high school boy, possesses a unique ability — his intuition becomes razor-sharp whenever he experiences headaches. He is suddenly summoned to the Five Senses Detective Agency (Gokan Detective Agency), an organization made up of Extreme Sensory Users (Extremers) — people who have heightened one of the five senses to the absolute limit. Their mission: to fight against Brain Breakers, a criminal organization of psychic ability users who commit extraordinary crimes. In the first chapter, Ataru is scouted by the agency and meets Natsume Tsūtenji, an Extreme Pain Sensory User, marking the beginning of an intense and mysterious new story.
